Jenny is an American painter whose work arose as a reaction to minimalism and photorealism, both of which he chose to reject. His paintings are figurative and usually have a narrative element. He frequently draws the frame and the title into the composition. In 1972 he took part in documenta V in Kassel. His paintings can be found in the most prestigious international museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, or in the Tate Gallery in London.
