Konrad Felixmüller

Felixmüller is one of the most important German painters whose work is resides between Expressionism and the Neue Sachlichkeit (New Objectivity). He was co-founder of the artistic group Dresdner Sezesion in 1919 representing a socially critical art. From 1949 until 1962 he was professor for painting and drawing at the Martin-Luther University in Halle. His work has been honored in numerous international exhibitions.
