Lives and works in Los Angeles, USA and East Yorkshire, England

Hockney, through his drawings, paintings, graphic works and photographs, is the most prominent of the British Pop artists. He took part in documenta IV in Kassel in 1968. In 1966 and 1967 he taught at the University of California. Since the 1960s until 2000 he lived in California before returning to England. His work is in numerous public collections, such as the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
